Superlux ECO88 Consumer Microphone - The Superlux ECO-88S is a traditional ball head dynamic vocal mic equipped with an on / off switch. Since it is a dynamic microphone it does not require phantom power. This makes it ideal if your mixer does not supply phantom power. While not as good sounding as the PRO-248, it is quite acceptable for many applications. The body is heavy die-cast metal, and the grille is steel mesh. This means it will take a lot of abuse, making it ideal for applications where you may not want to use your best microphones.
